US retro-pop band Craft Spells in Hong Kong for a night!
Fresh from a US tour supporting The Pains of Being Pure at Heart Seattle’s Craft Spells bring thier 80‘s-tinged perfect jangle-pop to asia for the first time, performing at Hidden Agenda for one night only.
One California winter in 2009, Justin Paul Vallesteros holed himself up in his bedroom away from the cold and began working on something that would change his life forever. What started as musical notes played in experimentation transformed into guitar chords laced with pulsating synth melodies and drum rhythms. This was the creation of the dreamy nostalgic pop music (You can hear the influence of Sarah Records and Postcard of Scotland, tinges of Aztec Camera, early New Order and Primal Scream) that is Craft Spells.
